TitanHQ, Ireland's leading cybersecurity company, are delighted to announce a year-long charity partnership with COPE Galway. As the Salthill-based company has experienced continuous growth, as well as a 90% increase in staff over the past two years, they chose to partner with a local charity to give back to the community.
A staff-wide vote saw COPE Galway selected as charity partner due to the scope of services they provide for the most vulnerable in our community. Their essential services support those experiencing homeless, women & children experiencing domestic abuse, and older people across Galway City and County.
Throughout 2023 COPE Galway will benefit from the proceeds of TitanHQ's ongoing fundraising activities. TitanHQ staff also intend to participate in volunteering projects at COPE Galway’s sites.
Speaking about the partnership, Ronan Kavanagh, CEO of TitanHQ said “We are delighted to be supporting COPE Galway this year. We were founded here in Galway almost 25 years ago, so to be able to give back to a local charity as we continue to grow is very important to us.
With many of our team also being avid daily swimmers in Blackrock, you can be sure you’ll spot many of us taking part in this year’s Christmas swim – along with many other fundraisers and activities throughout the year!”.
With some of COPE Galway’s services just a stone’s throw away from TitanHQ’s headquarters in Salthill, it is a meaningful partnership that will allow employees to give back directly to services who support so many people across Galway.
Leonie Woutersen, Corporate Engagement Executive at COPE Galway commented saying
“We are delighted the staff at TitanHQ have voted to support COPE Galway. This kind of local business community support allows us to continue to work with people in our community who need extra support during a vulnerable period of their lives. We really look forward to working with TitanHQ to help us reach the people with our services during 2023”
TitanHQ look forward to a year full of fundraising activities, volunteering, and raising awareness for this fantastic local charity.
