[Galway, Ireland – February 13th, 2025] – TitanHQ, a leading cybersecurity solutions provider, has named Cancer Fund for Children as its official charity partner for 2025. The partnership aims to support the charity’s vital work in providing therapeutic and emotional aid to children and families affected by cancer throughout Ireland.

As part of this partnership, TitanHQ will play an active role in raising much-needed funds and awareness to help Cancer Fund for Children deliver their essential services. These efforts will support the charity’s mission of ensuring that no child or their family, faces cancer alone.
A cornerstone of this partnership is TitanHQ’s commitment to supporting Cancer Fund for Children’s fundraising campaign for a second Daisy Lodge in Cong, Co. Mayo. This new Daisy Lodge will serve as a therapeutic short-break centre, offering children and families a peaceful space to recharge and create cherished memories during one of life’s most challenging times.
The need for a second therapeutic centre is urgent. Due to capacity limitations and overwhelming demand, Cancer Fund for Children is currently only able to offer therapeutic breaks to one in seven families. At any given time, over 50 families are on a waiting list for a stay at the existing Daisy Lodge in Newcastle, Co. Down.
The new Mayo facility will greatly increase capacity, allowing the charity to provide therapeutic short breaks to up to 4,000 children and parents annually—more than doubling the current number of families supported, which stands at 1,800. This new facility will significantly reduce the waiting list and enable Cancer Fund for Children to provide more families with the much-needed support they deserve.
“We are honoured to partner with Cancer Fund for Children, an organization doing invaluable work to support children and young people facing cancer,” said Ronan Kavanagh, CEO of TitanHQ. “Through our fundraising efforts this year, we hope to contribute towards the opening of the second Daisy Lodge in Mayo and help ensure that even more families can access the support they need. At TitanHQ, we believe in giving back to the communities we serve, and this partnership is one way we can do that.”
Throughout 2025, TitanHQ employees will have various opportunities to get involved in fundraising initiatives for Cancer Fund for Children. From individual donations to larger-scale campaigns, employees will play an active role in making a meaningful impact for families in need.
Speaking on the partnership launch, People Operations & Talent Specialist and Member of the Community Champions Committee at TitanHQ, Emma Brennan said:
“TitanHQ’s partnership with Cancer Fund for Children aligns seamlessly with our core value of putting people first. This important cause is close to the heart of many within TitanHQ, and the company is committed to raising both awareness and funds for the charity throughout the year. Supporting families during some of their most difficult moments is an honour, and we are excited to see the positive impact this collaboration will have.”
