The General Data Protection Regulation (“GPDR”) comes into force in 2018. To help prepare for these changes we have launched our "Getting Ready for the GDPR" Guide. In this guide, we examine the security and key actions that all organisations need to consider in preparing for GDPR. One significant change is that companies operating in Europe will be required to report cyber breaches to national authorities within 72 hours and, if there is a significant risk of harm, companies would need to report the breaches to affected individuals.
