Greylisting:
A new feature to Aardman Studio. Greylisting works by requesting that the sender´s server resends the email. Typically, spammers' servers are too busy sending out spam emails to respond to the request and, after a period of time without receiving the resent email, the Greylisting function rejects the email as spam. “the ability to create our own bespoke greylisting filters very quickly is incredible”
Reporting:
“very easy to use and gave us key information very quickly”. We really like the reporting, it gives us exactly what we need and does not overcomplicate things.
The reporting feature provides an overview of the status of SpamTitan while the history reporting page enables you to review all mail transactions that have passed through SpamTitan. Aardman Studio was able to review System Diagnostics via the System Information page where they could run troubleshooting commands. The Graphs page shows daily, weekly, monthly and yearly statistics on the number of email messages processed, marked as spam and containing viruses. In addition to this, quarantine reports are sent to users at specified times, showing emails blocked via SpamTitan. Users have the option to deliver, allow or delete the emails in the quarantine report.
